This clip nicely explains a couple of fundamental principles of quality soccer as taught by arguably the top soccer coach in the world, Pep Guardiola, narrated by superstar Thierry Henry, who played for Guardiola at FC Barcelona.
I strongly encourage you to watch it and share it with your youngster.
It should help nudge that soccer IQ in the right direction.

It’s a good clip but, in my opinion, not very relevant for youth players in the US. I’ve been a parent of a soccer player in Northern California for 8 years. I’ve met very few coaches who actually have a plan, let alone a plank like Guardiola would have created.
